Seven Summer Weekends by @janelrosen has more depth than the cute cover suggests but is an all-around fantastic summer read. I think the author did an amazing job when it came to balancing the emotional tones with some fun and witty ones too which for me was a major plus because I’m not into super emotional novels these days. So, I was very appreciative that realistic themes were thrown in. We can’t forget the amazing beach setting either. It’s almost summer so being transported to this gorgeous location put a big smile on my face.

If you haven’t read the author’s previous release ON FIRE ISLAND (you should though!) you can still read this one as a standalone. If you HAVE read it, you’ll realize that characters from that book make appearances in this one too!
