​I loved everything about this book! Its funny, heartfelt, tender, drips with emotion (especially at the end) and even has some spicy scenes! Lucy on the Wild Side is just the PERFECT read in every way. Not only do we get a budding romance between two people who quickly have beef with each other but we also get to learn about gorillas, being a zoo keeper, and other fun facts about animals. Kerry Rea surprised me by adding an emotional plotline about insecurities sustained from childhood and how they can affect people throughout their lives. I was able to really get to know Lucy because of this and had so much empathy for her. Was I expecting how close I would get to these characters? Nope! And saying goodbye to them was REALLY hard. But I loved the adventure of this one and I know other readers will too!

If you’re looking for a romcom with all the trimmings, one that will make you laugh AND cry then make sure to grab this one. I’m sad I didn’t read it when I first bought a copy but I’m so glad that I finally did. I needed this book in my life.
