Haunted by the memory of a night that torments her, she resolves to put the past behind her and move on.
No one knows the truth about what happened back then.
At least, that’s what she’s always believed.
Shortly after her arrival, strange things begin to occur. A mysterious package, strange calls, and frightening text messages seem to be just the beginning of the nightmare about to unfold.
Someone is determined to bring the truth to light. If they succeed, the life Cait has built based on secrets could come crashing down around her. And, if they want her to pay for what she’s done, her lies may be the least of her concerns.
Someone’s out for blood.

READ MY BOOK REVIEW
𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪 𝗦𝗡𝗔𝗣𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗧: The Reunion is a well written who-dun-it by one of my (new) favorite thriller authors, Kiersten Modglin! I recommend this one if you enjoy mysteries and suspense!
After reading The Arrangement by this author I knew I needed to read many more of her books. She thinks up some great plots and the twists and turns are truly shocking! Now, while this one wasn’t twisted like The Arrangement, I thoroughly enjoyed it anyway. The use of the past and present timelines really brings the story together and I never saw the ending coming. Not that many will either because the person behind the mystery is sly and slips past you without notice (no pun intended for the story), but it doesn’t even matter because it worked quite well! I’m so glad I found her books and that they were recommended to me because had I not listened to the recommendation I would be seriously missing out!
So, what’s this story about and why is it so different than The Arrangement? Well for starters, this is a mystery novel and NOT thriller like The Arrangement (yes, there is a difference between both genres). Secondly, while this book has a little suspense (in the way that we are sitting back and waiting with gritted teeth to figure out who’s behind the threats) the story mainly revolves around a woman named Cait who goes to her 10-year reunion in the same place where 10 years ago her friend died suspiciously. People blamed Cait and she left without looking back but has come back to show them she will no longer run from peoples stares and taunts. Slowly though things start to get a little weird as someone has their sights on Cait in a menacing way. And if Cait doesn’t figure it out before it’s too late then that’ll be the end of her!
This book revolves around this specific mystery and readers will NOT see who it is coming. Trust me, I didn’t and as I mentioned this killer is someone who truly hides in the shadows. So, if you like books like this and/or the authors novels in the past (she has some GREAT ones) then I recommend this one to you!
