The Good Luck Charm by Helena Hunting is a likable second chance sports romance novel. While it isn't my favorite book by the author, I think it would make a fantastic addition to anyone's beach bag this summer. It's lighthearted, sweet, and utterly adorable. I recommend it to anyone who is a fan of the author and to those who love a second chance romance.

Lilah and Ethan haven't seen each other for years. He broke up with her (over text message) because he didn't want to hold her back from her dreams while he played professional hockey. However, when his father has a stroke, he is back in the same town with the same girl he fell in love with all those years ago. Can the two find love again and overcome the commitment issues that held them back so long ago? Or will they end up in the same predicament. You'll have to read to find out!

Once again, Helena Hunting brings a charming story to life! The plot is relatable, especially to those who have tried a long distance relationship, and the charters are friendly and fun.
