Come on Madison. Read the damn book already! Ugh. This was the most INFURIATING aspect of the story (well, the ending was too but still). Rant aside, The Broken Puppet is the SECOND book in the Elite King's Club series and the books MUST be read in order. This is a dark YA romance novel- one that has lots of sex, swearing, and even talk of sexual abuse. This book isn't suitable for younger teens so make sure to only read it if you are above the age of 18. 

I can't say much about this book because it would be a total spoiler for those who haven't read the first book. I will say though that this is a good series. It doesn't read like a YA novel either. Had the author not used a high school as part of the setting I would have believed these kids were older. They just don't act their age. This is a dark series, one that is a complete mindfuck, and one that will leave readers anxious for the next installment. Thankfully, book 3 is available now and I plan on diving into it as fast as I can so I can finally get some answers.

If you like dark and original novels I recommend this series. Just be sure to keep an open mind and read it in order. None of the books are standalones and the first two end on wicked cliffhangers!
