And a stoner town that prides itself on its weed, crazy challenges, beards, and bizarre character.
Our trip started a little like a horror film...including bad cell signal, spotty internet and womb snatchers. Long story.
Fortunately, it changed pretty quickly.
I actually ended up not spending much time with my sister, but I did spend a lot of time with Kai Wilder. He's the single most unique, easy-going, and...oblivious man I've ever met.

This book is super funny! I devoured it in one sitting and was unable to stop reading until the very end. C.M. Owens has made this one of my all time favorite series because every time I dive into one of these books I am aching for more. The characters are some of the best around and I would gladly live in Tomahawk with them if I could! This is a refreshingly funny series and I can't wait for more Wild Ones (honestly, I don't want to wait though so place write more FAST).
Wilder is the third book in the Wild Ones series but can stand completely on it's own. As I mention in any review about a book that is part of a series I personally recommend reading them in order. This is for two reasons. 1. You get to know the secondary characters from previous books. They are a part (albeit a small one) in the books that come later in the series, but knowing them from their own stories makes more sense for it overall. 2. You can watch the town and it's people grow with every book and see the characters lives after their HEA.
With that, this book is about Piper and Kai Wilder. There is also another romance going on in this book between Piper's sister, Reese and Hale Vincent, but they haven't got their HEA. They clearly need their own book and I hope it's next!
The characters in this series (and the book of course) are crazy, wild, out of their minds, and absolutely HILARIOUS. They live by their own rules and enjoy the quieter way of life (well, until someone sets off an avalanche or blows up the lake). If you like characters that are out of their mind but swoon worthy, this is a must read book and series for you! Also, if you are into lumbersexuals, men with beards, and characters who don't think before they think then it's also a good fit. I highly recommend it!
