Yes! Laura Marshall does it again! She brings her readers a deeply scandalous novel of thriller and suspense that will leave readers devouring each page. I'm always nervous to read the second book after a debut novel because a lot of the time it just doesn't stand up against the first book. Thankfully, that wasn't the case here and I gobbled this one up in one sitting! Three Little Lies is everything I hoped it would be. After reading the first chapter, specifically the last sentence, I knew this book was going a fantastic read. And guess what? It was! There were moments I felt chilled- especially at the end when everything comes together- and moments where I felt that creeping sense of doubt because some of the narrators may not be truthful. This my friends is what I LOVE in a psychological thriller and it's exactly what you will get if you pick it up!
I won't get into plot details because the synopsis doesn't tell you everything that this book has to offer. However, I will say that it was quite unexpected in the best of ways and I loved reading it. I am very much looking forward to the next book by the author because both of them (this and her debut) were total winners for me!
This is a must have book for the fall!
