Good thing rules were made to be broken. And besides, it feels so good to Tempt the Boss.

Swoony, sexy, and downright hilarious!
I was lucky enough to meet Natasha Madison at a book signing (she's so sweet) and purchased this book (and a few others) from her. Going in blind, I wasn't sure what to expect- would I connect with her characters? Enjoy the way she writes her stories? Find the characters likable and realistic? The answer to all of this is yes, yes, yes! I fell in love with this story immediately. The characters are realistic and come off as real, everyday people and the plot was so funny that I was giggling non stop. The pranks that Lauren and Austin (aka Asshat) pull on each other had me rolling around and laughing hysterically. It's a lighthearted book yet it felt like it progressed at a normal rate- it's not one of those insta love stories that come off as unbelievable. All around, it's just a fantastic read. There is nothing bad I can say about it.
A Bit About the Story
Lauren is a newly single mom after her husband cheated on her with one of her kids teachers. Having to take care of herself and her two children she gets a job as a temp for a buisness man who is quite easy on the eyes. Unfortunately, he's also a total douche and irritates her beyond reason.
To get back at him for making her days nearly unbearable, she starts pulling a few "harmless" pranks on him. Well, she thinks they are harmless anyway. But a case of uncontrollable diarrhea and swollen balls may have gone to far...
Austin is a brooding man who has no time for the shenanigans that his new temp brings to the office. But he can't let her get away with causing him pain and embarrassment so he stoops to her level and pulls a few pranks of his own. Too bad one was taken to far and he looses the best thing that ever walked into his life...
Now he has to get her back and the journey is unforgettable.
I honestly LOVED this book. I love Austin and Lauren both together and when they are just getting to know each other (even though they didn't care for one another in the beginning). I love how the story progresses, how we get both sides of the story, and how everything turns out in the end. This book made me laugh (romcoms are my favorite and this one worked perfectly) and how it made me swoon at the same time. It's an all around fantastic book and one that shouldn't be missed!
