This is one of the best books I have read this year! And I have read some pretty amazing books. Josh and Hazel's Guide to Not Dating is fun, flirty, and hilarious!
Rating: ★★★★★
Release Date: September 4, 2018
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Series:  None. Standalone.

Pages: 320 pages
Format: eBook. ARC.
Hazel Camille Bradford knows she’s a lot to take—and frankly, most men aren’t up to the challenge. If her army of pets and thrill for the absurd don’t send them running, her lack of filter means she’ll say exactly the wrong thing in a delicate moment. Their loss. She’s a good soul in search of honest fun.

Josh Im has known Hazel since college, where her zany playfulness proved completely incompatible with his mellow restraint. From the first night they met—when she gracelessly threw up on his shoes—to when she sent him an unintelligible email while in a post-surgical haze, Josh has always thought of Hazel more as a spectacle than a peer. But now, ten years later, after a cheating girlfriend has turned his life upside down, going out with Hazel is a breath of fresh air.

Not that Josh and Hazel date. At least, not each other. Because setting each other up on progressively terrible double blind dates means there’s nothing between them...right?

Release Date: September 4, 2018
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Actual Rating: 5+ stars

This book is EVERYTHING. It's smart, funny, quirky, original, sexy, and sweet! If you are a fan of friends-to-lovers romance, and romances that will have you hardcore giggling, then I highly recommend this book to you! I haven't read a book by this dynamic duo in a very long time and now I feel like I have been sorely missing out. Thankfully, this book changed my mind and I will continue with every book they have written together!!

Josh and Hazel's Guide to Not Dating is exactly as it seems, but with more than you expect going into it. It's really hard to describe it because I knew I was going to like it based on the synopsis, I just didn't realize it was going to be so much better than I anticipated.

Josh and Hazel met in college under odd circumstances- Hazel asked him "Do you want to have sex?" She was drunk, can't keep her thoughts to her self, and normally journeys through life on the crazy bus. Josh being the subdued guy that he is, turned her down. So imagine their surprise when they reconnect 10 years later when they meet again through his sister.

From here on in, the two start a unique friendship with one another. They temporarily move in together, going on double blind dates with one another, and have one night of drunken sex. Neither think their relationship can go beyond friendship- they are after all, totally different from one another- but the notion that opposites attract somehow gains truth through their circumstances...

Can these two unlikely friends find love with one another? Or will their friendship stay the same. Well, you would have to read it to find out!

I loved this book HARD. I know it's going to be on my top 3 favorites list for the year, and will probably also sit on my top favorites list of all time! It's got the best characters, an original and fun plot, and a whole lot of ridiculousness. I highly recommend it!

I am the biggest fan of Christina but I haven’t read this one yet thanks to my long TBR. Now that I read this I’m even more annoyed with myself for not reading the book!
