Hometown Troublemaker is the second book I have read by Brighton Walsh and I am now officially hooked to her writing! Not only are the covers gorgeous (the covers are what drew me to her books in the first place) but the stories within the covers are just as fabulous. Hometown Troublemaker is a dream come true. I am a small town, southern romance lover through and through and this book gave me this. Not only that, this book has an enemies-to-lovers feel (on a smaller scale) and the banter between the two characters is phenomenal. Watching the two of them go back and fourth in their southern drawl was absolutely dreamy. All that being said, I was sucked into this book and couldn't stop reading until the very end. I felt as if I were a part of the story, friends with the characters, and living the dream with them. I hope many readers give this book a chance because it's a swoon worthy novel filled with the best kinds of romance around.
This book would be good for fans of:
❖ Southern romances (you can hear the drawl coming from their lips- it's memorizing)
❖ Small town romances (Havenbrook is blissfully charming)
❖ Romance after divorce
❖ Home renovations
❖ Stories that revolve around family but can stand alone
The Havenbrook Series
These books are interconnected standalones. Read in any order you like!
