Bittersweet is a satisfying and cute novel that is easy to read in one sitting. I loved the characters, although their miscommunication was a bit exasperating, and fell head over heels for the hero who is a single dad AND baker. In addition to this, I liked how there were many laugh out loud moments (mostly due to Elio's daughter) and the pure feeling that this novel had. It wasn't a quick and dirty book with too much sex and little of anything else. Rather, the sex was limited to the end and readers mostly caught glimpses of their budding relationship. Sure, there was some drama (as I mentioned the miscommunication above) but that's what made the story what it is. So I enjoyed it.
I'll keep this review short and sweet because I don't have too much to say about it other than it's an enjoyable novel. I hope readers will give it a chance especially if they are looking for a romance on the lighter side.
