All We Want by J. Daniels is the companion novella to All I Want. You need to read that one prior to this one. With that, I loved this novella. It's emotional, raw, and beautiful. If you have read the previous books in the series I recommend it.

For those who are planning to read this one, I suggest reading All I Want FIRST. This is the second book in Tessa and Luke's love story and if you read them out of order you won't get the full effect of their story. With that, this is an emotional story and it deals with infertility. The journey was a hard one to read about because it affects so many. J. Daniels clearly poured her heart out with this novella and I commend her for the care she gave to the story. There were moments where I was CRYING. Literally balling my eyes out because it had such an effect on my heart. But there are also moments where you can feel the love emanating through the pages because these two characters care so much about each other. It's a beautiful addition to their story and I am so glad I read it.

I'll keep this review short because it's a shorter book and I think that people need to read it themselves in order to feel the emotional rollercoaster it presents. But please remember that it should not be read as a standalone and you must read All I Want first. This is my suggested reading order below and the stories/novellas that accompany them:

➜ Where I Belong and Where We Belong are Ben and Mia's stories. The first one is the first book in the series and CAN standalone. The second one is a novella that catches readers up with where their lives are now.

➜ All I Want and All We Want are Luke and Tessa's story (this is the one I am reviewing here)

➜ When I Fall is a standalone in the series and features Reed and Beth (Reed is best friends with Tessa, Ben, and the crew. He doesn't have a novella yet but I'll update if another book is released for them

➜ What I Need is another standalone in the series and features CJ and Riley!
