Yes this book is gruesome (can't you tell by the title and cover?!?) and yes you need a strong stomach to read it. But... I was so invested in this story that I didn't even care! If you like weird horror try this book! It's more than meets... the eye LOL.

READ MY BOOK REVIEW

I don’t know what it was, but I surprisingly really enjoyed this book. Watching Ji-won’s slow descent into madness was gruesome, exciting, and well written. Is it weird to say that I enjoyed her even though she clearly has issues? Probably but I couldn’t look away. If you enjoy a horror novel that’s also a character study with a healthy dose of culture and madness, then I recommend this one to you. I’m looking forward to seeing what Monika Kim writes next.
