𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪 𝗦𝗡𝗔𝗣𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗧: We’re Made of Moments is one of those books that moves you. Single parent romances always tend to do this to me, but then when you add second chances with it the story becomes even more touching.

It’s been an awfully long time since I’ve been able to read a romance novel that was able to give me all the swoons and feels… Until this one. Molly McLain (a new to me author) has written a moving, gorgeous novel about longtime love and second chances. This is the type of book that will strike you right in the heart and hold your attention captive until the very last page. The romance is top notch, the plot is intriguing, sexy, and smart, and everything else in between is just as beautiful. I’m so glad I decided to try reading another romance (I haven’t been able to really read the genre with all the drama surrounding authors and bullying etc.) because this one made me believe in the genre again.

This is a single parent, second chance romance between the father and mother of Jett. His mother, Hayden and father, Jesse were friends in the past and had a one-night stand when Hayden found out her boyfriend was cheating on her. This one-night stand turned into an oopsie pregnancy and while it didn’t bring Jesse and Hayden together in a romantic way, it did make them parents to an adorable little boy that will steal everyone’s heart. So, what happened with Hayden? Well, she actually found out she was pregnant AFTER she got back together with her cheating boyfriend and decided to stay with him (he accepted the pregnancy). Fast forward 4 years and things between them isn’t working out well and Hayden actually STILL has feelings for Jesse. What develops is up to the readers to find out, but I’ll tell you this: it’s gorgeous!

I adored this book and while I think it was a little messy (Hayden’s breakup from her then fiancé to her longtime love Jesse) it felt really realistic. I suppose it wouldn’t be the story it is without the mess though, huh? In any event, I definitely recommend this one to all romance readers. It’s a wonderful story that will easily fill your heart and make you smile.
