I genuinely loved every single thing about this book. It’s been a while since I was able to rate a book with five stars but this one deserves every single one!

Genre: Romantic Comedy. Chick Lit.

Series: None. Complete standalone.
Pages: 286 pages
Format: Paperback. Source: Purchased.
Love Is Blind meets You’ve Got Mail in this laugh-out-loud romantic comedy following two thirty-somethings who meet on a blind dating app—only to realize that their online chemistry is nothing compared to their offline rivalry.

Perpetually cheerful and eager to please, Gracie Cooper strives to make the best out of every situation. So when her father dies just months after a lung cancer diagnosis, she sets aside her dreams of pursuing her passion for art to take over his Midtown Manhattan champagne shop. She soon finds out that the store’s profit margins are being squeezed perilously tight, and complicating matters further, a giant corporation headed by the impossibly handsome, but irritatingly arrogant Sebastian Andrews is proposing a buyout. But Gracie can’t bear the thought of throwing away her father’s dream like she did her own.

Overwhelmed and not wanting to admit to her friends or family that she’s having second thoughts about the shop, Gracie seeks advice
and solace from someone she’s never met—the faceless “Sir”, with whom she connected on a blind dating app where matches get to know each other through messages and common interests before exchanging real names or photos.

But although Gracie finds herself slowly falling for Sir online, she has no idea she’s already met him in real life…and they can’t stand each other.

𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪 𝗦𝗡𝗔𝗣𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗧: I genuinely loved every single thing about this book. It’s been a while since I was able to rate a book with five stars but this one deserves every single one!

To Sir, With Love is one of the best feel good romances I’ve read in a long time- maybe even EVER! I was so invested in Gracie and Sebastian’s story that I was rooting for them HARD CORE from their first meeting. I just KNEW they would be perfect for each other because they honestly balance each other out in the best of ways. She’s a quirky girl who knows what she wants but is afraid to be disappointed. He’s a bit more reserved and cutthroat as he’s a businessman (on the inside though, he’s also as sweet as pie just like our girl Gracie). One could say they are total opposites, but I also think they have more in common than meets the eye because both CLEARLY have hearts of gold. Sigh... I loved it so much and even had tears of happiness at the end because it was just so beautiful! **Sniffles**

So, what kind of book is this? This is a modern take on the You Got Mail classic (if you haven’t seen the movie you need to do it ASAP). This is also a story that encompasses a “Love at First TYPE” scenario as Gracie meets the man of her dreams on a dating app. Only this dating app doesn’t use photos to get their customers interested. It’s sort of a blind date type thing where they get to know one another without all the physical stuff before they meet. It’s really quite sweet. So where does Sebastian come in? Well, he’s a business owner that wants her Champagne shop. Sure, he’s extremely attractive but how could she EVER have feelings for a man this is trying to “ruin her families dream”. Well, you’d have to see what comes about when you read this one! I’ll tell you now, the journey is one you WON’T want to miss!

Lauren Layne has once again written an adorable, sweet, and swoon worthy read this To Sir, With Love and I hope many readers will pick this one up if you haven’t done so yet. It’s a lighthearted and amazing read and will surely be one of my top favorites forever!
