I enjoyed The Obsession quite a bit! It’s not my favorite book in the world and I probably wouldn’t read it more than once (unless the second one knocks my socks off) but I did have a great time reading it! In fact, I was so into it that I ended up reading it in almost one sitting! It’s definitely a young adult version of YOU by Caroline Kepnes. There are a few differences, but the feel, the obsession, and the stalking are right on par with it. The only differences really are that this is a young adult book (the characters are high schoolers), and the twist at the end was completely different than I expected! I liked it a lot! It’ll be cool to see where the author takes us in the next book.

If you’re looking for a book that will suck you in from beginning to end then this is a must read for you! It’s thrilling, a little dark, raw, riveting, and fast paced! I look forward to reading many more books by the author because it’s clear she has a knack for storytelling!

PS: If you didn’t know, the author who wrote this book also wrote Dial A For Aunties! I purchased both books and didn’t even realize the author was one in the same! Love how her books are so completely different from one another!
