𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪 𝗦𝗡𝗔𝗣𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗧: Rescuing Harmony Ranch is a sweet, small town, second chance romance! If you are a Hallmark movie fan like I am then this is a book you don’t want to miss!

Jennie Marts writes wonderful small-town romances. I you’re a fan of the genre then I highly recommend checking out her books! I remember reading my first one a few years ago and since then I’ve been craving them over and over again. Why? Because they are simple but extremely charming. This is exactly how I felt about Recuing Harmony Ranch as well. While I did find the storyline to be predictable (just like how if you’ve seen one Hallmark movie you’ve seen them all), I did read it at warp speed. I just ENJOYED the second chance love story between Mack and Jocelyn. It’s truly a feel good, heartwarming romance. Yea, I knew exactly what was going to happen and I was never “worried” that things wouldn’t work out, but that doesn’t make the book any less enjoyable to read. So, for that alone, I recommend this one.

I don’t have all that much to say about this book besides what I said above so I’ll be keeping this review rather short. A few things you may want to know include these:

⏩ There are NO sex scenes. A few stolen kisses YES but no sex. This is 100% a wholesome Hallmark romance (just like on TV).

⏩ There isn’t ANY drama. The main conflict is basically within the characters as they grapple with their decisions to come back together. Yes, they also have to save the ranch, but I didn’t find this dramatic at all because I just KNEW they would.

⏩ There are some sweet secondary characters (the grandmothers and the dogs) but they don’t play a large role in the story. Normally I love to see secondary characters almost as much as the primary ones, but this book focuses SOLEY on Mack and Joselyn.
