Fairy Godmothers Inc. is a magical start to a brand-new series that I am so excited about! I love how this one FELT like a true fairytale and others who enjoy reading books like this won’t want to miss this one!
Rating: ★★★★★
Release Date: December 29, 2020
Genre: Romantic Comedy. Magic. Paranormal.

Series: Fairy Godmothers Inc. #1
Pages: 306 pages
Format: Paperback. Source: Purchased.
First in a magical new series full of edgy and hilarious antics, this is the read you need to finally give your year the fairy-tale ending it deserves! An enchanting story of love, dreams, and second chances—a delightful read for cold winter nights that fans of Christina Lauren, Tessa Bailey, and Kerry Winfrey can’t miss…

If love is the source of all the magic in the universe, and the town of Ever After, Missouri, is the epicenter of enchantment, then the locals are in dire need of a reboot. At least according to resident fairy godmothers Petunia, Jonquil, and Bluebonnet. Their solution? Blow a bit of fairy dust in the direction of those in need of romance. . . . What could possibly go wrong?

SOME KIND OF AWFUL . . .

Lucky Fujiki’s first name is a cosmic joke. Her luck is so bad, even
the number seven steers clear of her. But when her adorable godmothers ask for a favor, Lucky can’t say no. After all, it’s just a little one--to save the world’s magic. Lucky can already feel the bad juju waiting to strike. And her mission is even worse than she imagined: to promote Ever After as a wedding destination by faking a marriage to her first love and long-time ex, Ransom Payne—he of the Embarrassing Incident that neither of them will ever live down . . .

OR ALL KINDS OF WONDERFUL?

Ransom Payne has spent years building an impressive new reputation for himself, and now his godmothers want him to pretend to wed the one girl he’d like most to forget? Sure, weddings in Ever After could be a huge boon for his chocolate business, but risking more up-close-and-personal time with Lucky? Considering the stakes, it’s a curse he’ll have to bear, at the risk of being humiliated—or perhaps, bewitched . . .

** This is my suggested reading order. All the books do feature their own couples but there is a crossover in terms of secondary characters, the town, and the godmothers. That's why I recommend reading this series in order.

READ MY BOOK REVIEW

𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪 𝗦𝗡𝗔𝗣𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗧: Fairy Godmothers Inc. is a magical start to a brand-new series that I am so excited about! I love how this one FELT like a true fairytale and others who enjoy reading books like this won’t want to miss this one!

I don’t even know if I can begin to describe just how much I loved this book! It’s a magical treat and I was enchanted with this book from the very first page. Honestly, I didn’t think I would love this book as much as I did because of how unbelievable the setting seems: a small town in Missouri filled with fairies, werewolves, princes/frogs, sewing mice, and talking cardinals? Yikes! Sounds like something straight from a children’s book, right? Well, that may be, but this is as ADULT as a book like this can get! This book features a second chance love story about a man and women who once dated in college but had a near miss in so many ways (LOL, THE BOY WHO MISSED). It also incorporates a fake marriage trope that turns into something you will only see in fairytales… 😍

Ransom and Lucky have undeniable chemistry and it’s clear that these two are two destined souls but with Lucky’s “unluck” they just combust in all the wrong ways. Readers will be taken on a hilarious journey as we watch these two TRY and love one another in a normal way but have a little trouble when it comes to anything physical. Killer cherries? Wild hogs? Tornadoes? You name it and it befalls these two whenever it gets heated. Will Lucky’s LUCK ever change or is she destined to live a lonely life? You’ll have to wait and find out!

This book is all sorts of funny and I giggled all the way through. Not only are the two main characters absolutely delightful but the secondary ones are what makes this series so bingeable! I love the fairy godmothers, Gwen and her little monsters, and everyone else that plays a part in Ever After! This is a magical town and one I will want to read about over and over again. I can’t wait to start in on the second one!

I highly recommend it!
