WHAT TO READ? SMARTY PANTS ROMANCE STARTER KIT

It's been a hot minute since I've written a bookish post so I thought I'd pop in and do one now! Lately, I've been getting back into romance books (I had a love/hate relationship with them for the past few months) and when looking for some new ones to read I came across the Smarty Pants romances! I think I've read one or two in the past and would love to read more. Therefore I'm compiling a list here to for a starter pack of sorts for others who would also like to try these books! Let me know in the comments below if you've read and loved any in particular. 

𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗬 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗘𝗗
The books within the Smartypants romance collection originate from the Penny Reid Universe. Some of the series include The Knitting in the City series and Winston Brothers series. I recommend reading BOTH if you haven’t had a chance as they are fantastic romantic comedies!​ She also has some more books which you can see below. All of the books listed are the first books in the series!

• Neanderthal Seeks Human is book 1 in the Knitting in the City series. Each book can be read as a standalone as they feature different couples. Here is the link to the completed series >> Knitting in the City Series. 


• Truth or Beard is book 1 in the Winston Brothers series. The series follows the Winston brothers as they get their own HEA's. You can read each book as a stand alone if you wish. Here is the complete series link >> Winston Brothers series. 


• Totally Folked is a small town romance and book 1 in the Modern Folktales series. You can read a free novella (here) to accompany this series. So far, there are only 2 books and I'm sure more to come. Modern Folktales series. 


• Engagement and Espionage is the first book in the Cletus and Jenn Mystery series. These are cozy mysteries and so far there are two books within the series. Cletus and Jenn were first featured in Beard Science. Here is the series link >> Cletus and Jenn.


• Homecoming King is the first book in a brand new Penny Reid series! It releases on December 14.
